The death occurred peacefully at Beach Grove Home, Charlottetown, on Wednesday, February 15, 2017, of Alyre Doucette, husband of the late Shirley (nee DesRoche), formerly of North Winsloe, aged 87. Resting at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, 2538, Glasgow Road, New Glasgow, for visitation on Tuesday, February 21, 2017, from 6 to 9 p.m. The Cymbria Lions Club will hold a service of remembrance prior to the visitation at 5:30 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Augustine’s Roman Catholic Church, Rustico, on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. Interment later in St. Augustine’s Cemetery.
