Passed away at the Health Sciences Complex after a lengthy illness in the presence of his family. Predeceased by his father and mother: Lorenzo and Edith; sister Bride Belbin and brother Freeman Francis. Leaving to mourn devoted wife of 57 years: Ruby; children: Carol, Clyde (Debbie), Allan, Donna Pritchett (Brian); grandchildren: Jamie Searle, Felicia Francis, Clyde Francis and Courtney Searle; great-granddaughter Carmen Francis; sisters: Blanche Bailey and Helen Ash; brothers: Wallace (Evelyn), Wilson (Alma) and Hayward (Betty); sisters-in-law: Thelma (Sam), Vicki (David) and Lillian (Bill), as well as a large number of nephews, nieces and friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held at Bauline United Church on Thursday at 2 pm. Interment will follow at Bauline United Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Clyde's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
