Passed peacefully away at home on February 22, 2017, age 63 years. Predeceased by his parents John and Marguerite Murphy and father-in-law Joseph Hurley. Leaving to mourn with saddened and broken hearts his partner Jean; son Matthew (Faithlyn); stepchildren Glen Campbell (Renee), Kim Ennis (John), Sherry Stevenson (Sean); grandchildren Ashley, Stephanie, Brandon, Sarah, Alex, Akeel and his special little angel Jillian; great-grandchildren Kaylee and Sophie; brothers John (Margaret), Tom, Jim (Diane), Andrew, Joe, Myles, Neil (Lisa) and Brian; sisters Marguerite Kaye (Lenny), Jean Murphy (Dave), Bernadette Chalker (Dan Owens) and Louise Husk (Paul); special nephew Sean Murphy, also left to mourn, special friends Gordon Parsley, Tom and Betty Marnell, Fred and Violet Winsor, Sandy and Debbie Martin, Mary Osmond and Dave Osmond (deceased), as well as a large circle of family and friends. A special thank you to Dr. Hancock, Dr. Fallows, Dr. Rourke, and Dr. Edwards. Cremation has taken place. Visitation from Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Sunday, February 26, 2017 from 1-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, February 27, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. from St. Teresa's Church, Mundy Pond Road. Inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation or the Knights of Columbus Council 1452, St. Clare Avenue.
