NEWELL, Gregory Edgar “Greg” –age 55, of Westphal, passed away unexpectedly on February 8, 2017, at home.
Born in Truro, he was a son of the late Edgar and Barbara (Saulnier) Newell.
Greg enjoyed being outdoors. He had many hunting and fishing trips in his younger days. He spent a lot of time helping develop his brother’s property and enjoyed every moment. He shared a love of gardening and visiting many local attractions with Sue. He was always available to give a helping hand. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Greg is survived by his loving girlfriend Sue Menin; his best friend and brother Rick (Audrey) Newell; nephew Gregory; sister Susan (Milton) Surette; nieces Andrea and Heather; and very close friends Amanda and Matt Lohnes, and their daughters, Lily and SeaSea whom he adored.
Cremation has taken place. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
