AMON, Estella Mary - Stella was born Dec 10, 1927 the daughter of Franklyn Garron and Francis (Thibodeau) Garron, she passed away Feb 19, 2017 at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital surrounded by her family. Stella faced her illness with amazing strength sharing that strength with her family. Stella is survived by her children Dennis (Sue), Donna (Bob), Frank (Susan), Burton (Carol), Jackie (George), Bruce (Mary Ann), son-in-law Danny, brother-in–law John E. Surette alias Uncle Eddie as well as by grandchildren Steve, Tyler, Corey, Kelly, Kimberly, Casey, Aaron, Glen, Jeremy, Jason, Michael, Philip, Jennah, Burton, Angie, Tammy, Tara, Erin, Shelby, Jessica, Jade, Justin, Sarah, and Laura. Great grandchildren Katie, Sage, Joy, Javen, Boden, Asher, Teghan, Braigha, LeeAnn, Braden, Arielle, Ava, Mia, Monisa, Dawson, Alexis, Alex, Madison, Austin, Chelsea, Chantal, Brittany, Allison, Haley, Morgan, Ty, K.K., Jacob. She was predeceased by her husband Philip, parents Franklin and Francis, brothers Vic, Joe, Ernie, Dennis (in infancy), Nonie and Gladie as well as daughter Cheryl, grandson Chris and granddaughter Courtney. Stella was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home. Visitation took place Wed. evening Feb 22/17 from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. with prayers at 8:00 p.m. Funeral service was held at Sweeny’s 2:00 P.M. Thursday Feb 23/17, Rev. Mr. Stephen Bourque officiated, followed by burial in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery with a reception that followed in the Jubilee Room at St. Ambrose Church, Albert St., in Yarmouth.
