Passed away at Agnes Pratt Home on Friday, February 24, 2017 at the age of 86 after a lengthy illness. Predeceased by her husband of over 50 years Lester D. Bennett; brothers: Maxwell and Thomas; sisters: Clara and Annie. Leaving with sad hearts are her three children: Max (Carolyn), Sharon (Scott) Baggs and Donna (Brian) Parsons; six grandchildren: Joshua, Jennifer, Laura, Emily, Katie and Jack; four great-grandchildren: Ella, Josie, Ethan and Callum. Left with memories of happier times, cherished sister Georgina and husband Don Banfield, as well as many other relatives and friends. A special thanks to the staff of Agnes Pratt Home for their continued kindness and compassion during the past five years. Visitation at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Sunday, February 26, 2017 from 2-9 pm. Funeral service from Barrett's Funeral Chapel to be held on Monday, February 27, 2017 at 11 am, interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
