STELLARTON – Olive Virginia “Jenny” LeBlanc, 57, of Stellarton formerly of New Glasgow, passed away peacefully Monday, February 27, 2017, in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow, surrounded by her family and friends.
Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late John James and Mary Agnes (Walsh) MacPhee. She enjoyed dancing, singing, cooking, and baking bread was her specialty.
Jenny is survived by husband, Gerard, St. Antoine, N.B.; daughters, Georgina LeBlanc, Stellarton; Michelle Hape (Paul-Emile), Bouctouche, N.B.; Cheryl LeBlanc (Remi), St. Antoine, N.B.; son, George (Mirellie), St. Antoine, N.B; sister, Theresa Corbett, Central Caribou; brothers, Jack, New Glasgow; Roddie (Connie), Pictou; grandchildren, Erica, Jessica, Shania, Holly, Allie Grace; great grandchildren, Riley, Kyle, Dominic.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by sisters, Marsha Morrison, Thelma Wood, Hazel MacPhee, Marie Boutlier, Shirley Stewart. The family will receive visitors 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Family flowers only, donations in Jenny’s memory may be made to Aberdeen Health Foundation Palliative Care Unit Endowment.
