Passed peacefully at home, Wednesday, March 1, 2017 of Rena MacPherson of Stratford, age 86 years. Beloved wife of the late Wallace MacPherson, loving mother of Garth Lea (Virginia “Gina”), grandmother of Joseph Lea (Shayna) and great grandmother of Arianna and Desmond. Rena is also survived by her brother - Clint MacLean. She was predeceased by her daughter in infancy Betty Lea, parents - Malcolm and Wilhelmina MacLean and brothers - Woodrow, Vickerson “Vick” and Hugh MacLean. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford for visitation Sunday, March 5, 2017 from 7 - 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held Monday, March 6, 2017 at the Stratford Chapel - Hillsboro Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Interment will take place later at the Vernon River Cemetery.
