Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Thursday, March 2, 2017 of Lawrence Joseph "Larry" Young age 83 years. Born in Halifax, NS, he is the son of the late Lawrence and Margaret (Rankin) Young. Larry moved to Ontario at a young age where he spent all of his working life. Beloved husband of Marie (O’Toole) Young and dear father of Larry (Dianne) and Tom (Jennifer). Granddad of Aaron, Alanna, John, Lauren, Connor and Liam. Brother of Anna Brennan (deceased), John Young (deceased), Harold Young(deceased) (Edith), Lorraine Simon (deceased) (George), Collette Walker and Peter (Diane) Young. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Wednesday, then transferred to St. Michael’s Church, Corran Ban for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers contributions in memory of Larry may be made to the Upper Room Hospitality Ministry.
