Peacefully at the Dr. John M. Gillis Memorial Lodge on Friday, March 3rd, 2017 with her loving family by her side, the passing of Mary Elizabeth (Gill) Fraser, aged 97, beloved wife of the late A.A. "Joey" Fraser. Born in Iona, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Maude (McGarry) Gill. Mary will be sadly missed by her loving children, Arthur (Penny), Victoria, BC, Allan (Audrey), Stratford, Blair (Christine), Kilmuir, Gerard (Diane-deceased), Union Road, Robert (Hazel), Calgary, AB, Noreen (Alan) VanIderstine, Peters Road, Rita, Brudenell; cherished grandchildren, Jennifer, Jared, Kylie, Jordan, Charlotte, Peter, Neil, Luke, Carolyn, Gregory, Alisha, Sarah, Fraser and Amy. Great-grandmother of Matthew, Kaitlyn, Aliya, Grace, Lincoln, Lydia, Kadin and Mason. Mary was predeceased by sister Rita (Benny) Koke and special daughter-in-law Diane Bell-Fraser. Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home with visiting on Monday, March 6th from 4 to 7 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Montague on Tuesday, March 7th at 10 a.m. Interment to take place in the spring in St. Mary’s Parish Cemetery.
