The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Saturday, March 4, 2017, of David MacAusland, of Linkletter, aged 68 years. Born in Summerside, he was the son of the late Preston and Myrtle (Ramsay) MacAusland. Survived by his wife Shirley (Warren) MacAusland; children PaulaJo Merrill, Chris DesRoche, Danielle DesRoche; grandchildren Jordan, Anna, Dallas, Bryson and Chasity; great-granddaughter Rylan; brothers Gordon and Paul MacAusland; sister Cathy Graham; mother-in-law Florence Warren; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Billy (Janet) Warren, Marilyn Warren, Greg (Carol Ann) Warren, Darlene MacDonald, David Warren, Glen (Patty) Warren, Cathy (Peter) Richard, Monty (Gladys) Warren; and by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his granddaughter Rylee Faith DesRoche; brother Alden; sister Deborah Lee, in infancy; brothers-in-law Harley Graham, Danny Warren, and Lowell MacDonald; and by a sister-in-law Nora Warren. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. Interment later in Peoples Cemetery, Summerside.
