We the family of Arnold ‘Arnie’ Gregory Joseph, announce his passing on March 5, 2017 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital. Born in Sydney, he was the son of the late Joe and Catherine Joseph. In Arnies earlier years he was a policeman, then moving on to be a mailman and ending his working career with being a gasoline inspector for the government.
Arnie is survived by his wife, Heather Cooke-Joseph and son, Aaron Joseph. He is also survived by five stepchildren from his first wife and three from his second wife. Besides his parents, Arnie is predeceased by his first wife, Rowena Joseph and two stepchildren, John Cooke and Don Samson. Donations in Arnie’s memory can be made to the Diabetic Association. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Arnie’s life will be held on Friday, March 10, 2017 at 11 a.m. in the SW Chant & Son Funeral Home Chapel, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney, with Rev.
