John MacLean passed away March 8, 2017 at the Cove Guest Home, Sydney. Born June 9, 1935 in Sydney he was the son of the late Norman and Sarah (MacAulay) MacLean.
John worked at many Canadian Force bases across Canada. He served in Germany with the United Nations and in the Middle East.
He is survived by brothers, Norman (Lillian), Sydney, Gordon, Sydney, William, Fort Smith, Northwest Territories and Sister, Beth Parsons, Stephenville, Newfoundland. John was predeceased by his birth mother, Bessie (McKeen) MacLean.
Cremation has taken place and there will be a Memorial service for John at a later date. Online condolences may be made at
