It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lenora (Annie) Gillingham announce her passing on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony. Mrs. Lenora Annie Gillingham of Blue Cove was in her 81st year. She leaves to mourn her son Michael Gillingham (Caroline); granddaughters Cicely Ann Gillingham and Katherine (Chris) Gill, and great-grandchild Willow, all of Labrador City; sister Marie Anderson (Willie) of Irishtown; special nephew Reg Locke (Pauline Gilley), Corner Brook; special friends Bob and Maryann Dredge, Blue Cove, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, friends and the families of Reginald Rumbolt and John Pittman. Annie was predeceased by her Baby Son James, parents Chelsey and Mary Jane Locke, brothers Jim (Blanche) and Willis (Rebecca) and very special friends in life Reginald Rumbolt and John Pittman. Visitation was held at The Church of Advent in Plum Point from where the funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, the 8th day of March with Rev. Jennifer Renouf officiating. Interment will follow on Darby’s Island. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Siobhan Mauger, funeral director.
