Trenton - Roy Louis Rogers, age 66, of Trenton, passed away Friday, March 10, 2017.
Born in Kentville, he was a son of the late George and Beatrice (Moore) Rogers. He worked at the Punch and Shears at Trenton Works. Roy loved to go to Black Brook with his friends to hunt, have a few beers, and play horseshoes. His favourite place was his barn, which was called Triggers Stable. Roy loved watching the Chicago Blackhawks and Toronto Blue Jays. His second address was Tim Horton’s, Main St., Trenton.
He is survived by his wife, Cathy (MacPherson); daughter, Angela, New Glasgow; sons: Richard, PEI; Dwayne, Trenton; brother, Raymond, Kentville; sisters: Betty, Ontario; Debbie (Dougie) States, Kentville; Cindy (Shawn) Elgar, Kentville. He was predeceased by brothers, Richard and Garnet; sister, Pauline.
Visitation 6-9 pm Monday in the R.H. Porter Funeral Home, High St., Trenton, from where funeral service will be held at 1 pm Tuesday, with Rev. Dr. Ken MacLeod officiating.
