Passed peacefully away on Friday, March 10, 2017, Kathryn Clare (Jardine) Brown. Affectionately known by most as Cassie, she was born on September 11, 1937 to Percy and Jean (Dicks) Jardine. Predeceased by her husband Bill (2001) and brother Gerry (2001), she leaves behind her loving family, sons David (Margot) and Richard (Ulrike) and grandsons Stephen (Emily) and Adam (April). Cassie is also survived by her sisters Grace Hovland (Howard) of Arizona, Patricia Burry (Wilf) of Spaniard's Bay and a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends. The family extends thanks to her special friends, Sylvia Healey and Helen Lawlor whose support has been unwavering and invaluable. Thank you as well to the caregivers at the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre, especially Dr. Jehan Siddiqui and Dr.Craig McIssac and the staff of 4NB at the Health Sciences. Cremation has taken place. Visitation from Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Sunday from 7-9 p.m. and Monday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at 11 a.m. from Caul's Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation.
