Passed peacefully away on Friday, March 10th, 2017 at Chancellor Park, Ruby Vallis, aged 96 years. Predeceased by her husband William (2011), sisters: Rita (Samuel Almeda) of Halifax, Amelia Sellars (James, deceased) of St. John's, Margaret Sellars of Kitchener, ON, Elsie Rodway (Clayton, deceased) of Corner Brook, Roseanne McCann of St. John's, brother John Dolimount (Carrie) of Grand Bank. Survived by daughter Betty Sherstan (James); four grandchildren: Michele and Scott of Vancouver, BC and Cindy and Craig of Quesnel, BC; five great-grandchildren: Nicole and Emma of Quesnel, BC, Andrew and Tayla of Quesnel, BC, and Ian of Vancouver, BC; sisters: Maude Welsh (Benjamin, deceased) of Nova Scotia, Ann King (Aubrey, deceased), Ethel Brown (James); brother Frank Dolimount (Pearl) of Grand Bank; brothers-in-law: Kenneth Sellars and Phillip McCann; also many nieces and nephews. No visitation. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 16th, 2017 at 2 p.m. from the Carnell Memorial Chapel. Interment to follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
