It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of lifelong resident of Deer Lake, Ronald Osmond. Born September 3, 1944, he was 72. Ron was son of the late Eunice and Moses Critch. Following the death of his mother, when he was an infant, he was raised with tender, loving care by the late Gladys and Arch Osmond (his Aunt and Uncle). Ron was predeceased by brothers Watson Critch and Mark Osmond, sisters Ellie Janes and Joan King, and brothers-in-law Jack King and Ron Janes. He leaves to mourn sister Betty Sibley (Lew), sister-in-law Betty Critch (Watson), and a large circle of family and friends. Visitation will be at Parsons Funeral Home, March 16, 2017 2-4pm and 7-9pm. The service will be at Parsons Funeral Home March 17, 2017 at 2 pm. Ronald resided for many years at Deer Lake Manor and the family would like to wish a special thanks to the staff. Also special thanks to the nursing staff of Western Memorial Hospital and Dr. Roger for their care of Ronald. Donations in his memory may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation, The March of Dimes Canada, Western Memorial Hospital Foundation or charity of your choice.
