Riverton:
Swinamer, Hugh Thomas, age 84 of the Valley View Villa, Riverton formerly of Eureka and Scotsburn passed away Monday March 13, 2017 at the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in Island East River he was a son of the late Ross and Annabelle (Robertson) Swinamer.
He was a resident of Eureka after having previously resided in Edmonton for some 25 years.
Surviving are brothers Walter (Marie) Swinamer, New Glasgow; Carl (Susan) Swinamer, Plymouth; sons Vernon and Ross MacLeod, an aunt Elizabeth Swinamer, several nieces and nephews
Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or service by request. A public graveside service will be held at a later date in the Churchville Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the H.C. MacQuarrie Funeral Chapel, Stellarton.
