It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lloyd Curtis announce his sudden passing on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook in his 68th year. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his wife of 42 years, Diane (nee Smith); son Marc (Sherry), St. John’s; daughter Melanie (Damien), Sop’s Arm; grandchildren: Jamie, Landen, Zander, Wyatt and Waylon; his old buddy Jake; sister Barbara (Jim); father-in-law Hedley (Beulah); brothers and sisters-in-law: Alan (Christine), Wayne (Katie), Linda, David, Susan (Jerome), Karen (Eric) and Sharon; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, many friends, former student and colleagues. He was predeceased by his parents Edmund and Belle Curtis and mother-in-law Florence Smith. As per Lloyd’s wishes cremation has taken place. There will be an open house at his residence in Jackson’s Arm on Tuesday, March 21 from the hours of 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. All are welcome.
