Marcia Virginia (Gallant) Gaudet
1926-2017
Peacefully at the Margaret Stewart Ellis Home, O'Leary, on Friday, March 17, 2017, with her loving family by her side, of Marcia Virginia (Gallant) Gaudet, of O'Leary, age 90 years. Born at Piusville on September 6, 1926, she was the daughter of the late William and Rose (nee Brown) Gallant. She was predeceased by her first husband, John P. Gallant, in 1969, and by her second husband, Louis Gaudet, in 2012. Lovingly remembered by her children, Pauline (late Albert) Gallant of Brae, Marlene (Evertt) McCormick of St. Lawrence, Terry (Laura) Gallant of Bloomfield and Betty (Roy) Ellsworth of St. Lawrence. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Nora Lee (Darrin) Gallant of Duvar, Dwayne (Cathy) Ellsworth of Alberton, Kendall (Jennifer) Gallant of Bloomfield, Kim (Ray) Nolan of Riverview, N.B., Karla (Leo) Savone of Toronto, Krista (Tim) Phelan of Morell, Tammy (Stephen) Murphy of St. Lawrence, Troy (Tanya) Ellsworth of Broderick Road, and granddaughter-in-law, Linda Gallant of Miscouche. Great-grandmother to Marlana (Jimmy Lee) Oliver, Danielle Gallant, Rebecca Ellsworth and Jessica Ellsworth, Laine, Abi, Vada and Paisley Gallant, Brooke, Bianca, Nolan, Mila and Simon Savone and Pierce Phelan, Avery Arsenault Ellsworth and Connor Ellsworth. Great great-grandmother to Tye and Tillie Oliver. Dear sister to Annette (Melvin) Blanchard of Saint John, N.B. She was predeceased by sons-in-law, Merritt Ellsworth and Albert Gallant, grandson, Michael, great-grandson, Kevin, and sister, Leona (Emmanuel) Gallant. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. Visiting hours Sunday 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Funeral Mass Monday from St. Anthony's Church, Woodstock, for funeral mass at 2 p.m., Rev. Danny Wilson, Celebrant. Interment later in St. Anthony's Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorials to St. Anthony's Restoration Fund would be gratefully appreciated.
