CAROLE PETERSON
1936 – 2017
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Carole Ann Peterson on Thursday, March 16, 2017. She was predeceased by her father, August Peterson; her mother, Valentine Peterson (nee Senkin); her grandson, Donovan Brown; and her niece, Karen Stevens. Carole is loved and remembered by her sister, Elaine (Fred) Hamm; her daughters, Cheryl (Ken) Brown and Brenda (Wayne) Taylor; her sons, Dale (Sheena) Wing and Stewart (Raelynn) Wing; her grandchildren, Michael Brown, Chris Wing, Amber Wing, Andrew Wing, Austin Wing, Anna Wing, Anthony Wing, Alexandra Halliday, Kailey Halliday and Isaiah Krip; her great-grandchildren, Tobias Wing and Taliyah Wing; and her nephew, Warren Stevens. Carole was born on Thursday, December 3, 1936. She attended school at SIAST in Prince Albert and received her Cooking Certification, then went on to cook at Eaton’s Cafeteria in Prince Albert. Carole later worked as a florist at Val’s Floral Boutique for many years. Carole served on the executive and was instrumental in starting the Smart Families Food Cooperative. As per Carole’s wishes there will be no service. Interment will take place in North Battleford Municipal Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 54 11th Street East, Prince Albert, SK, S6V 0Z9.
