Horswill, Mildred Rena (July 26, 1956 - March 16, 2017)
Rena was as artistic soul with a gift for making people smile. She had a love of folk art and was exceedingly talented. Her kindness and generosity was limitless and her laugh infectious. Rena had immeasurable strength and fortitude. She was full of life and never one to sit still. She remains deeply loved by her partner, son, sisters and the rest of her family.
Rena is predeceased by her parents Joseph Henry Gaudet and Marie Agnes (Muise). A devoted mother to Peter Horswill (Rogue) of Toronto, Ont. and Trevor Owen (Angie) of Pubnico, Nova Scotia and her 2 grandchildren Adria and Reid. Also survived by her caring partner Clyde Caskenette, his daughter Neva and their 2 grandkids Suri and Pippa Vandermeer. A loving sister to Leslie Gaudet (Margaret) of Ont., Donna LeFave (Arthur) of N.S., Helen Durkee of N.S., John Gaudet (Lisa) of N.S., Brenda Headley (Larry) of Ont., Robert Gaudet (Michelle) of N.S., Karen Belliveau (Richard) of Ont., and adoring Aunt to many nieces and nephews. As per Rena's wishes, cremation has taken place and a service to celebrate her life will be held at a later date.
