Passed peacefully away at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, on Friday, March 24, 2017, Gladys Marion Gillam, age 99 years of the Acadian Village in Stephenville. She was predeceased by her husband's Hillard Delano Duffney and Wilson Gilbert Gillam, her three sons John K. Duffney, Hillard Delano Duffney and Guy Duffney, two grandsons: Johnny Duffney and Guy Critchley, and her four brothers and six sisters. She Leaves to mourn her daughter Doris Morris, twelve grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and thirteen great-great-grandchildren as well as a larger circle of nephews, and nieces, other relatives and friends. Visitation will take place at Fillatre's Funeral Home, West Street, Stephenville Crossing on Saturday, March 25 from 7-9 pm and at St. Michaels and All Angels Anglican Church, St. David's on Sunday, March 26, from 7-9 pm from where Funeral service will take place on Monday, March 27, at 1:00 pm with the Rev. Ruby Carter officiating, assisted by the Rev. William Matchem. Interment will follow at the Anglican Cemetery in St. David's. As expressions of sympathy, flowers will be gratefully accepted, or donations may be made to St. Michael and All Angels Anglican Church, St. David's.
