Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, March 25, 2017, at the Palliative Care Unit at the Dr. L.A. Miller Centre, Clyde Hickman, age 80 years. Predeceased by parents, Brigadiers Charles and Ellen Hickman; brother, Lloyd; parents-in-law, Peter and Marion Mouland; and sister-in-law, Renee Woodland. Lovingly remembered by devoted wife of 58 years, Cynthia (nee Mouland); daughters: Lynn Wiseman (Philip) and Deanne Hickman; grandson: Adam Wiseman (Allison); sister-in-law, Pearl Hickman; niece, Dale Abbott (Les); nephew, Dean Hickman (Jacki); great-nephew, Dean Abbott (Sharon); great-great-nephew, Blake Abbott; brothers-in-law: Eric Mouland (Linda), Llew Woodland; nieces: Cathy, Lisa and Tracy; nephews: Todd, Chris and their families; as well as a treasured circle of extended family and friends. Special thank you to his family Doctor, Dr. Peter Noel, medical staff of 4 West at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, and also to the caring, compassionate staff of the Palliative Care Unit. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, on Monday, March 27, from 2pm-9pm. Funeral Service will be held from the Salvation Army Citadel, Adams Avenue, on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at 2:00pm. Interment to take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Clyde's memory may be made to the Salvation Army St. John's Citadel Senior Band Fund.
