Passed away peacefully on March 24th, 2017, at the Health Sciences Centre. Kevin Harold Tubrett of Holyrood, 80 years of age, 1936 - 2017. Predeceased by his wife, Betty (nee Hawco) in January 2004, and his parents: Mike and Winnie Tubrett, his mother and father-in-law, Len and Barbara Hawco, his brother and sister-in-law, Ron and Bernice Hawco. Leaving with loving memories are his sons: Keith (Suzanne), Robert (Alice), his very precious grandchildren: Victoria and Christopher and Crystal (Brad) and four great-grandchildren. Also leaving to mourn are his sister Joan and brother Raymond (Madeline), sister-in-law, Barbara Anne (Bruce) Lane, many nephews and nieces, especially Mark Lane, Neala Hawco, special cousin Louise Costello, and many other relatives and good friends. The family is especially grateful to Theresa Woodford, Tom Fewer, and all the staff at Woodford's Comfort Manor for their devoted care and attention to Kevin. Cremation has taken place and family will receive visitation at Dunphy's Funeral Home, Holyrood, on March 27th, from 2pm to 9pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Holy Cross Church in Holyrood on March 28th at 2pm. Donations in Kevin's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the SPCA. Kevin was a gentle man who responded with compassion and generosity to all. May he now rest in the gentle peace of Christ.
