It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the peaceful passing of Robert “Bob” Jackman on Sunday, March 26th, 2017, at the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital in Moose Jaw, SK. Robert was born on June 23rd, 1932 in Moose Jaw, SK. He was predeceased by his parents, Albert and Martha Jackman. He married Rose Sanftleben in October 1952 and Rose passed away on March 26th, 1982. They had three children together. He later married Marlene in 1986. Robert is survived by his wife of 30 years, Marlene; sisters, Marge Ireland and Carol Bouvier (Colin); brother, Dale Jackman; children: Robert Jackman (Wendy), Denise Maisonneuve (Ralph), and Tim Jackman (Barb); stepchildren: Greg May, Brent May (Lee-Anne), and David May (Judy); grandchildren: Stacey Butterworth (Carl), Shaun Jackman, Christopher Jackman, Jeremy Jackman, Ashley Maisonneuve, and Louie Maisonneuve (Valerie); step-grandchildren: Taylor May, Tori May, Paige Tait (Colton), Tess Tait (Tyler), Nicole May, and Colbi May; 14 great-grandchildren; and his two fur babies, Sammy and Zorro. Bob was a man full of life, he always had a smile, a story and of course a project on the go. All our memories will live on in our hearts forever. In keeping with Robert’s wishes, no Funeral Service will be held. A Celebration of Robert’s Life will take place at his and Marlene’s home on Saturday, June 24th, 2017.
