It is with great sadness that the families of Wilfred Dyke announce his passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL, on Tuesday, March 28th, 2017, at the age of 79 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Maude (nee Cassell); his children: Ronald (Rosalind), grandson Byrant Dyke; Brenda (Glenn) Pittman, his grandchildren: Jody Dyke, Cassandra Dyke, great-granddaughter Skylar Nippard; Gladys (Morgan) Simms, grandchildren: Jordan Dyke, Jenna Doucet, great-grandchildren: Jaxon Dyke, Jaicee Dyke, grandson Cameron Simms, and granddaughter Rochelle Simms; his brother William (Bill) Dyke and sister-in-law Shirley Dyke. Wilfred was predeceased by his parents: Aubrey & Suzanna Dyke, his siblings: Winston, Jeanie, Beryl, Beatrice, Alice, and Violet. Also leaving to mourn a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended families and friends. The family will be receiving family and friends at St. Bartholomew Anglican Church in Jackson's Arm, NL, on Thursday, March 30th, 2017, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm, where also the funeral service will take place from on Friday, March 31st, 2017, at 2:00 pm, with Bishop Torraville, officiating with the burial to follow at the church cemetery, in Jackson's Arm, NL.
