The death occurred at the Summerset Manor, Summerside, on Thursday, March 30, 2017 of Archibald “Archie” Barrett, of Summerside, aged 79 years. Born in Summerside, he was the son of the late Wylie and Ruth (MacKay) Barrett. Survived by his children Robert (Wanda), Pam Barrett (Lew Irvine), David (Lynette Boland-Barrett), Barry (Kathleen Rorke); grandchildren Andrew (Nicole), Graham (Adrienne Haye), Aaron, Cameron, Adrienne, Britney, Morgan, Emma and William; great-grandchildren Quinn and Grey; brothers and sisters Fred (Claire), Nancy Canhan and Ian (Donna). Predeceased by his wife Patricia “Pat” (Atkinson) Barrett. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside. Funeral arrangements to be announced at a later date.
