Terrance "Ted" Michael Sheppard
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ted Sheppard, Age 74. Ted passed away at home on Saturday, April 1st, 2017.
Ted Graduated from St. Martha’s Hospital lab tech in 1966. He graduated from St. Francis Xavier University with a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry in 1967. Ted also worked at the heavy water plant until his retirement. Ted is survived by his wife, Gertrude (McCarthy) of 48 years; sons, Brian, at home, Jason and his wife (Diana), River Ryan; also by his two beloved grandchildren, Zoe Isabel and Xavier Jason, whom he loved dearly. Ted was predeceased by his father, James Francis Sheppard Sr. and also by a special mother, Mary Sheppard McNeil. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, 380 Smith St., New Waterford. Visitation will be held on Wednesday April 5, 2017 from 1 p.m. until time of the service at 2p.m all in V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home Chapel with Fr. Ray Huntley officiating. Interment will be held in Forest Haven Memorial Gardens at a later date.
