Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear Long Term Care Facility on Sunday, April 2, 2017, Leo P. Doyle of Gull Island, age 86 years. Predeceased by wife: Martha; parents: Albeus and Elizabeth; brothers: Johnny and James; sister-in-law: Ethel Doyle; special cousin: Tim Doyle. Leaving to mourn, four daughters: Louise (Eddy) Power, Lower Island Cove, Eileen (Gerard) Howell, Northern Bay, Annie (D'arcy) Broderick, Torbay, and Maureen (Robert) Williams, Goulds; two sons: Alby (Julie) Doyle, Bay de Verde and Leo, Gull Island; eleven grandchildren: Jason (Amanda), Cindy (Willie), Adam (Rhonda), Nadine (Greg), Mandy, Emma, Caitlyn, William, Aaron, Alex, and Taylor; two great-grandchildren: Jake and Aubree; one brother: Cyril Doyle, Gull Island; also a number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Thursday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Saturday, 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Saturday, April 8 at 10:30 a.m. from Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church, Northern Bay.
