The death occurred peacefully, with family by his side, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, on Tuesday, April 4, 2017, of Justin Kelly, beloved husband of Bertha Kelly (nee Stordy), of Kelly’s Cross, aged 89. Justin was the loving father of Lawrence (Laura), Bob (Mary), Les, Marlene Clark (Mike), Cecil (Mary), Jim (Bernadette), Karen Myers (Ronnie), Connie MacLean (Tom), Joanne Mayhew (Gordon) and Stevie (Kimberley); grandfather of 25; and great-grandfather of 17. He is also survived by his sisters, Edith Costello (Leo, deceased), Pauline Doyle (Pat) and Patricia Molyneaux (Leroy); brothers, Len (Mae, deceased) and Joe (Evelyn); sisters-in-law, Rita Kelly (Francis, deceased), Colette Stordy (George, deceased), Marie Voecher (Helmut, deceased), Bernadette Noonan and Emily Stordy; and brothers-in-law, Gerald Stordy (Marion) and Tony Richard. Justin was predeceased by his son, Brian, in infancy; granddaughter, Wanda Clark; parents, Joe and Loretta (Monaghan) Kelly; sisters, Mary Monaghan and Eileen Penwell and two sisters in infancy; brother, Francis; parents-in-law, Anthony and Ermine (Duffy) Stordy; brothers-in-law, Lawrence, George, Edwin and Cecil Stordy; and sisters-in-law, Margaret Richard (Martin), Ethel Richard (Tony) and Mae Kelly. Resting at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, 2538 Glasgow Road, New Glasgow, for visitation on Friday, April 7, 2017, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Kelly’s Cross, on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 10 a.m. Interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
