It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Susanna Ricketts, on Wednesday April 5, 2017 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 94. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children: Edna (Albert), Effie (Leander), Betty (Steward), Clayton (Kim), Edith (Wayne); grandchildren: Terrance, Andrew (Trudy), Edith, Harry, Todd (Kim), Gloria (David), Evonne (Terry), Jackie (Neil), Cindy, Elaine (Mitch), Elvis (Jeanette), Kevin (Debbie), Denise (Angus), Robbie (Betty), Denzel (Jasmine), Timmy (Cora), Debbie (Carl), Nancy (Nate), Tony (Kathleen), Christine (George), Eva (Keith), Lloyd (Debbie), Cindy (Chris), Alexandra (Bryce), Lucas, 42 great-grandchildren, 20 great-great-grandchildren, as well as a large number of nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends. She was predeceased by her husband George, parents George and Elizabeth Twyne, grandchildren Kevin and great-grandchild Chantelle, brothers Hubert & Abraham. Then funeral service will be held Saturday, April 8th at 1:00 pm from St. Michael's and All Angels Church in Deer Lake with Reverend Canon Paulette Bugden officiating, followed by the interment at the Anglican Cemetery in Hampden. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home 10 Clinic Drive Deer Lake on Friday from 2-4 pm. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made to the Western Memorial Regional Hospital Foundation.
