Trevor Rose

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Trevor Rose, age 35, loving son, husband, brother, uncle and friend on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Born in North Sydney, Trevor was the son of Andrew and Diane (Galpin) Rose. Trevor had been employed with First Strike security working at Zellers and later Sobeys and Shoppers Drug Mart in North Sydney. He was more recently employed with Walmart in Sydney. He was an avid gamer and a talented writer and artist. He was always there for his friends and family when they needed him, whether it was a word of encouragement, advice or even just a shoulder to cry on. He will be greatly missed. Trevor is survived by his parents, Andrew and Diane Rose of North Sydney; by his wife, Stacy Fraser and her parents, Michael and Sharon Fraser of New Waterford; his sister, Shari (Wade) Gouthro, North Sydney; brothers, Daryl Rose, Jeff (Tracy) Rose, both of North Sydney; brother-in-law, Jon Fraser (Samantha Miles) and his nephews, Travis and J.T. Gouthro, Dylan Rose and by his nieces, Sarah Rose and Anna Fraser. Visitation for Trevor will be from 2 to 3 p.m., Tuesday, in the W.J. Dooley Funeral Home, 107 Pleasant St., North Sydney.
