Darlene Eulalia (Tattrie) Wells

Darlene Eulalia Wells (Tattrie), Lower Truro, went home to be with her Heavenly Father in the early morning hours of Sunday, April 9, 2017 with her loving family by her side.
Born in Tatamagouche, she was the daughter of the late Ellsworth and Myrtle Tattrie.
Darlene worked as the Custodian at St. James Presbyterian Church as well as worked for several years at the Canadian Tire Store, Truro. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Darlene leaves behind her loving husband, Don Wells; daughters, Julie Richards (Paul Yip), Tracey Otterson (Casey), Joanne Wells; son, Mark Wells (Laura); grandchildren, Cameron, Haley, Tristan and Trevin; sister, Elaine Eisener; brothers, Basil Tattrie (Kay) , Blair Tattrie, Kenny Tattrie (Judy), Floyd Tattrie (Betty); sister in law, Judy, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides her parents, Darlene was predeceased by her brother, Roland Tattrie; her special dog and companion for many years, Tiggy.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro from where Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 12 from 6-8pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 13 at 2pm in Healing Streams Church, 291 Pictou Rd., Bible Hill, Pastor Larry Tattrie officiating. Interment will follow the service in Tattrie’s Oakrest Cemetery, Tatamagouche. Reception will follow at 244 Jim Sutherland Rd., Tatamagouche. Honouring Darlene’s love for animals, memorial donations may be made to the Colchester Branch SPCA.
