LANGILLE (Burlock) Natalie “Pat” Greta – age 90 of Yarmouth, Nova Scotia passed away peacefully on April 6, 2017 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Gronlid, SK on September 8, 1926 she was the daughter to the late John and Katherine (Feilkewich) Burlock, of West Ukraine. Pat left home as a teenager to work as a personnel investigator for the Retailers Service of Canada where she worked undercover to identify employees who were stealing from their employer. She spent many exciting years travelling the country and would often share stories of the adventures she had along the way. After meeting future husband, Ernest G Langille, the two were married at the Empress Hotel in Victoria, BC and returned to his native Nova Scotia to begin their life together. The family moved around the province, following Ernie’s different job postings as Superintendent of Fish Hatcheries in Southwest Nova Scotia. The two retired to the quiet village of Isaac’s Harbour, Guysborough Co., where Ernie had grown up. Here they enjoyed 30 years of retirement together where Pat became heavily involved at the Isaac’s Harbour United Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star, where she served as Worthy Matron. She loved visits from her grandchildren and great grandchildren who enjoyed time in the strawberry patch and vegetable garden with their grandmother. After Ernie passed away in 2008, Pat moved to Yarmouth to live with her son, Ken. She enjoyed many years meeting new friends and truly becoming part of her son’s family. Last year after her son Ken passed away, Pat moved in to Gentle Care in Dayton where she made many new friends. She is survived by son, Gary (Louise) Langille, Halifax; daughter in-law (Ricky) Langille, Bridgewater; her grandchildren, Jordan (Cailen Smith), Yarmouth; Jenna, Boston, Mass., Christine (Steve Harmon), Kentville; Thea and Alexa, Halifax, and her great-grandchildren, Maddox and Sam, Kentville, and Caidin and Callie, Halifax.
