With heavy hearts, the family of the late Kathleen Coombs of Riverhead, Harbour Grace age 93 years announces her passing on April 11, 2017. Welcoming Kathleen into eternal rest are her husband: Gerald (1997); son: Cyril (2003); two infant grandchildren (1977); parents: John and Mary Callahan; brothers and sisters: Leo, Pat, Bill, Frank, Ned, Mike, Jack, Marie, Angela, Veronica, and Nellie. Leaving to mourn and hold her in their hearts forever are her devoted and loving children: Sr. Marie, Kevin (Marina), Eileen (John) Delahunty, Jack (Velma), Joan (Wayne) Peddle, Bren, Gerald (Kim), Tom (Dale), Jerome (Shelley), Anita (Jim) Cantwell, Sheila (Greg) Johnson and Maureen (Paul) Snow; twenty-seven grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law: Jeanie Coombs; sister: Gertrude Connolly, many nieces, nephews and a large number of other relatives and friends.
