With great sadness, the family of Gerald Raymond Young announce his passing at the WMRH on Saturday, April 15, 2017. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his daughters Vickie, Kelly Bartlett (Bill); his sons Jeff, Terry (Billie) and Robert (Jeannie); three precious grandchildren Leeann (Murray) (Jessie), Nicklaus (Taylor) and Lucas; two great-grandchildren Carter and Mason; his sisters Lena Willis (Roy), Joan Mason; sisters-in-law Vivian, Gladys, Marie, Margaret and Jean; brother-in-law Bud Walker and the Donahue family; special friends Joyce and Andy Pittman; and also a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Sheila Donahue Young, November 2015; father George and mother Marion; sisters Madge and Winnie; brothers Jeffrey, Nicholas, Dennis and Tim. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Monday, April 17, 2017 from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday, April 18, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place from the Cathedral of the Most Holy Redeemer on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetary at a later date.
