Born in Fortune Harbour NL, January 3, 1923. Passed away peacefully April 16, 2017 at St. Patrick's Mercy Home, age 94 years. Predeceased by his parents John and Margaret (Glavine) Lannon, his wife Eva in 1986, his sisters Mary Woodrow and Annie Lyver, his brothers James Lannon and Matthew Lannon. Leaving to mourn four nieces, three nephews numerous grand-nieces, grand-nephews and sister-in-law Catherine Lannon. Allan lived and worked in Buchans, NL, Sherbrooke, PQ, and Kitchener, ON. On retiring, he returned to Newfoundland in 1989 and resided in St. John's. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, 84 LeMarchant Road, St. John's. Visitation at Caul's on Thursday, April 20, 2017 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Patrick's Mercy Home Chapel, 146 Elizabeth Avenue, St. John's on Friday, April 21, 2017 at 11 am. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Topsail Road. A donation to a charity of one's choice would be appreciated.
