Entered into eternal life at McAuley Convent on April 17, Sister Marie Alma O'Gorman, age 83. Predeceased by her parents Paul and Lydia (Boyle) O'Gorman and two sisters Fay and Sister Margaret RSM. She will be fondly remembered by her Religious Congregation, the Sisters of Mercy, two brothers Bernard (Margaret), Richard (Mary), three sisters Frances, Noreen (Frank) Moore, and Madonna (Dave) Clothier and other relatives and friends. Waking at McAuley Convent, 250 Waterford Bridge Road, St. John's, Tuesday, April 18 from 7-9 p.m., and Wednesday, April 19 from 1-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, April 20 at 9:30 a.m. at Corpus Christi Parish Church, Waterford Bridge Road, with interment to follow at the Sisters of Mercy plot in Belvedere Cemetery. May she rest in peace.
