Passed away on Monday, April 17, 2017 in the presence of his loving wife, David Smith, age 76 years. Predeceased by his parents Russell and Charlotte Smith; sisters: Jean Clements, Rita Chafe and Gladys Thorne; brother Bill Smith; and nephew Dave Chafe. Leaving to mourn, his loving wife Judy (nee Langdon), and her children: Steven (Lisa), Glen (Vicki), Ian (Anita) and Janet (Ken). Proud "Poppy" to eight grandchildren: Ben, Quinn, Riley, Kaylnn, Jared, Taylor, Morgan and Noah; brothers: Russell Smith and George Smith; nieces and nephews: Paul, Valerie, Carolann, Judy, Pam, Debbie, William, Chuck, Jim, Susan, Jeff, Andy, Cindy, April, Debbie, George and Craig and their families; as well as a large extended family and wide circle of friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, on Thursday, April 20, from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral service to take place from Barrett's Funeral Chapel on Friday, April 21, 2017 at 2 pm, with interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. No flowers by request.
