Trenton - Margaret Eleanor (Holley) MacEachern. With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beautiful wife, mother, grandmother and sister at the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow, on Wednesday, April 19, 2017. Eleanor was born on April 10, 1953, a daughter of the late Mae (nee Stone) and Ray Holley, Eureka. She is survived by her husband, Brian, Trenton; son, Kelly Holley (Alicia), Toronto, ON; daughter, Sherry Bates (Sam), Bridgewater; stepson, Kevin MacEachern (Esther), Tatamagouche. She will be greatly missed by her siblings, Sue Hecimovich (Rocky), Springville; Doug Holley (Christina), Ontario; Brian Holley (Darlene), Little Harbour; sister-in-law, Freda, Ontario; father-in-law, Neil MacEachern; nieces, nephews and friends. She adored her grandchildren, Devon, Haley and Tristan Holley, Colin and Ryann Bates and Catlyn Smith. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Raymond and mother-in-law, Helen. Eleanor had been employed by J.J. MacKay’s for 19 years. Per her wishes, Eleanor will be cremated with a celebration of life to take place at a later date. The family would like to thank all Eleanor’s friends for the food, flowers, and support during this time. They would also like to thank the wonderful staff of the Palliative Care Unit at the Aberdeen Hospital. Eleanor especially loved her visits from her special niece, Bonnie McCarron.
