Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family, on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at the Glenbrook Lodge, age 87 years. Predeceased by her loving husband Leonard White; parents Stephen and Ethel Carter; sister Genevieve Penton (Clarence). Leaving to mourn with cherished memories her children Len (Geraldine), Steve (Cavell), Loretta Murphy (Don), Sharon Jossa (Michael), Peter (Anne), Marilyn Foley (Dave) and Mary Harvey (Tom); grandchildren Jack, Meagan (Matt), Matthew, Laura (Jonathon), Donnie, Amy, Lyndsay, Lou, Heather, Robert, Kathleen, Julia, Niki and Johnny; great-grandchildren Ella, Ryder and Nathan; sisters Catherine Ronayne (Harold, deceased), Gabrielle Norris (Peter, deceased), Philomena Carter; brother Stephen Carter (Ita); brother-in-law Gerard White (Joan); sister-in-law Magdalene Vickers (Raymond). Special thank you to Phyllis Voisey for taking such wonderful care of mom and the staff of the Glenbrook Lodge, especially the staff of the first floor, Unit. C. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Thursday and Friday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, April 22, 2017 from St. Teresa's Church at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
