KRAFVE, Doreen Sylvia – 77, Barrington Passage, Shelburne County died April 17, 2017 at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born at Oak Park on December 20, 1939, she was a daughter of the late James and Nettie (Atwood) Hunt. She is survived by her husband, Lawrence; son, David (Maxine), North East Point; daughters, Darlene Krafve, Barrington Passage, Sheryl Newell, North East Point; daughter-in-law, Karen Krafve, Wedgeport; brothers, Ben, New Minas, Jerry, Digby, Bobby, Digby; sister, Grace (Ian) Cree, Villagedale; grandchildren, Kirby, Anthony, Katie, Walt, Frank, Felicia, Jade; great grandchildren, Connor, Arrianna, Kale; step grandson, Paul. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by son, Lawrence Jr. “Buddy”; son-in-law, Jeffery; brother, Norman; sister, Louise. Doreen enjoyed listening to old music, barbequing and gatherings with the family. She enjoyed spending time with the grandchildren. Cremation has taken place under the direction of the H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Barrington. There will be no visitation or service by request. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or charity of your choice.
