Rushton, Debra Ann “Debbie” – 65, Truro passed away unexpectedly, April 19, 2017 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Truro, she was the daughter of the late Edmund and Florence (Welch) Elliott. Debbie worked as a CCA for many years in various health locations, including the VON, Cedarstone, The Mira, and Debert Court. Her greatest love was her family, especially her grandchildren and extended even to her pets and all animals in general. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Terrence; daughter, Stephanie (John) McIntosh, Bass River; sons, Patrick, Bass River, Timmy (Michelle), Kelly (Jennifer), both of Debert; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Donations in her memory may be made to the Colchester S.P.C.A. or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
