Willis Henry Tapper in his 93rd year passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre surrounded by family. He was a long time resident of Topsail, formerly of Frenchman's Cove, Fortune Bay. Predeceased by wife Jean (2010), brother Leslie and sister-in-law Margaret, sister Ethel Allen and brother-in-law Douglas, Laura Cluett and brother-in-law Gar, brothers-in-law Arthur Barnes, Cecil Barnes, Harold Tucker. Leaving to mourn daughters Joan and Gary Szangulies, Linda Corker (Edmonton), Patricia and Paul Badcock (Stoney Plain), grandsons Kirk and Debbie (Fort McMurray), David and Karen (Fort McMurray), granddaughters Stephanie and Greg Greeley (Foxtrap), Kim and Blair Kosakewich (Edmonton), 8 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, sisters-in-law Jessie Barnes, Fanny Barnes, Margaret Tucker and Betty and Ross Barnes, nephews Gilbert and Paula Allen (Red Deer), Nelson and Alma Cluett (Corner Brook). Special friend Jeannie Mitchell (Dennis - deceased) Kansas City, USA and other relatives and friends. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2 - 4 pm and 7 - 9 pm. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at 1 pm from St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, Topsail. Interment in the Anglican Cemetery, Topsail. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations to the Old Church Upkeep Fund or the Cemetery Upkeep Fund.
