Mary Carmen McMullin

Mary Carmen McMullin, 82, a long -time resident of 55 Minto Street, Glace Bay, passed away at the Glace Bay Hospital on Friday, April 21, 2017.
Mary was the daughter of the late Robert and Jenny (McIntyre) McMullin of 4th Street, New Aberdeen.
She was predeceased by her brother, Robert and his wife, Catherine (Morrison), and her niece, Cathy McMullin.
Mary is survived by her brothers, Frank (Lorna) and Mick (Brenda), and by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
We would like to thank Dr. Gallivan and Dr. MacNeil and the nurses of 3rd South, Glace Bay Hospital for the care they provided to Mary. Special thanks to her niece, Melanie and cousin, Reg for their love and concern for Mary over the years.
Mary was known for her kindness and great sense of humor. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 26, 2017 from 1 p.m. until the time of the service at 3 p.m., with Fr. Norman MacPhee presiding. A luncheon will immediately follow the service; all in V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, 16 Reserve Street, Glace Bay.
Interment will be held at a later date in St. John’s Cemetery.
