Peacefully at the Prince County Hospital on Wednesday, May 3rd, 2017, of Everett Archibald Martin of Tryon, in his 76th year. Beloved husband of Maureen Martin (nee Craig). Dear father of Victor (Diane) Martin and Cathy (Robert) Cairns. Loving grandfather of Jeff Martin (Amy Campbell), Steve (Robyn) Martin, Josh Lewis, Kim (Tim) Waite, Josh (Tia) Cairns, Tom Martin and three great grandchildren. Also survived by sisters Elsie (Reg) Sherren, Verna Compton, brother Lloyd (Cindy) Martin and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Milton and Mary Martin and son George Martin (2011). Resting at the Dawson Funeral Home, Crapaud. By personal request there will be no visitation. Funeral service on Monday, May 8th, 2017 from the North Tryon Presbyterian Church at 10:30 a.m. If so desired memorial donations may be made to North Tryon Presbyterian Church Cemetery Fund or charity of choice.
