The death occurred peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Monday May 8th, 2017 of Mary “Una” Gaudet (nee Gallant) of Summerside, aged 87 years. Daughter of the late Frank and Celina Gallant. Beloved wife of the late Gerard “Jerry” Gaudet and loving mother of Frank (Anne) and Michael (Faye). Also lovingly remembered by her 4 grandchildren Lisa (Danny), Jessica (Kevin), Alexandra and Adriane, 4 great grandchildren Alexander, Michael Sawyer, Joshua and Olivia. Predeceased by her biological mother Mary (nee Richards) Gallant, her sister Dorothy (Tommy) Perry and brother Donald (Irene) Gallant. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home 245 Pope Road, Summerside, where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in St. Paul’s Cemetery. Memorial donations in Una’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
