At the Western Hospital, Alberton, on Sunday, May 7, 2017, with his family by his side, of Clarence Joseph Chaisson, of the Tignish Seniors Coop Home, and formerly of St. Roch, age 84 years. Born at St. Roch on April 28, 1933, he was the son of the late Orville J. and Margaret M. (nee Martin) Chaisson. Dear brother to Beatrice (late Joe) Buote, of St. Roch, Louise (late Bill) Gavin, of Alberton, Lucy (late Billy) McHugh, of Tignish, Alma (late Ted) Savage, of Victoria Harbour, Ont., Thelma (Stewart) Asenault, of Scarborough, Ont., Nelson, of St. Roch, and Roger (Doreen), of Tignish. He was predeceased by a sister, Evelyn Gaudet. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and friends. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton, for visiting hours Thursday, May 11th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Friday morning from St. Simon and St. Jude Church, Tignish, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m., Rev. Brendon Gallant, celebrant. Interment in the Parish cemetery.
